Il primo post, in questo Diario/Blog, sul mio Erasmus e' datato 21 Settembre 2002!
Sono passati quasi 9 mesi dal giorno che mi sono imbarcato sull'aereo British AirWays con il quale ho lasciato Verona, ho lasciato la vita monotona e frustrante della facolta' di Rovereto per arrivare ad Aberdeen (scalo Londra), ridente (non troppo) cittadina della costa occidentale della Scozia, capoluogo della contea dell'Aberdeenshire, sede di due Universita': Aberdeen University (la mia) e Robert Gordon University.
Sono rimasto sulle terre delle Highlands per tutti questi mesi, aparte una venuta in Italia di 2 settimane; doverosa per il Natale.
Oggi, inizia ufficliamente il conto alla rovescia, 13 Giugno ore 9.00 Pippo (it-au), Ponza (au), Claudio (it), Paolo (it), Federico (it), Nolle (D), Stef (D) and my self monteremo su 3 macchine, un LandRover bianco (stile militare) targato Venezia, un furgoncino arancione Wolswagen stile Hippy targato Bolzano e una Polo verde con targa Germanica alla volta di Dover con fermate Durahm, Liverpool e Londra! Da Dover il ferry (15 pound a testa) ci trascinera' esausti fino a Calais (Francia) da dove ci sposteremo in Olanda/Germania, luoghi che esploreremo per 4/5 giorni.
Alla fine, puzzolenti , felice di tornare a casa e tristi di andare via, faremo ultima tappa a Brunico, li ognuno in ordine sparso prendere i bagali di un anno, strapieni di ricordi, e li aprira' alle proprie case!
Allora, ognuno nel silenzio della sua camera, con il sole tanto sperato da queste parti, si rendera' conto che un capitolo della propria vita e' stato chiuso, ma sara' un capitolo che varra' la pena di rileggere tante volte durante il resto della propria storia, sara' un capitolo da cui trarre ispirazione per il proprio futuro.
Con le esperienza, i momenti facili e difficili, le amicizie, gli amori, le delusioni e tutto quello che l'Erasmus di un anno ad Aberdeen, in HillHead, ci ha fatto vivere!
The first post of this diary about my Erasmus Life was posted the 21th of September!
It's passed almost 9 months from the day when I took off from Verona leaving it and the boring life in my Trento/Roverto University with a British Airways airplan. Destination Aberdeen, laughing (not too much) city of the Scottish WestCoast, University center, with the Aberdeen University and the Robert Gordon Uiversity!
Today is starting the count down, the 13th of June, me with Pippo, Ponza, Claudio, Paolo, Fede, Stef and Nolle are gonna leave this place, with 3 cars, destination Dover, with stops in Durham, Liverpool and London, in Dover the ferry will move us in Calais (France) and from there we will spend few days around German and Holland!
At the end, smelling and stinking, happy to go home, sad to leave all behind, we will do the last stop in Brunico where everybody will take the own road to go, finaly, at home, with the baggages full of memories!
At that time, everybody, in silence of the own room, with the sun (a lot hoped) shining out of the window, will realize that one chapter of own life is closed.
With the experiences, the easier and difficult moments, the friendships, the loves, the delusions and all that one year of Erasmus in Aberdeen, HillHead, left us to live.
